We have a pre-departure meeting with all passengers on the morning of departure at Casa X restaurant at 10:00am. Please make sure you attend this meeting on time as we also need to collect your passports at this time
Later on the day of departure we will meet at a small dock near Casa X where all passengers and luggage will be transferred to the Quest which will be anchored in the bay.
Before you arrive to the dock you should separate your luggage into two bags, your main backpack, and a small day pack with what you need for your time on the boat. Your main backpack will be stowed away in a dry storage during the entire trip.
ALL LUGGAGE AND ITEMS BEING LOADED ONTO THE BOAT WILL BE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION BY LOCAL POLICE, INCLUDING DRUG SNIFFER DOGS. THESE DOGS HAVE A VERY SENSITIVE NOSE, SO IF YOU HAVE HAD ANYTHING IN YOUR POCKETS THE DOGS WILL DETECT IT. SO MAKE SURE, IF THAT IS THE CASE, THAT YOU WASH YOUR CLOTHES BEFORE BOARDING. ALL DRUGS, INCLUDING MARIJUANA, ARE ILLEGAL IN BOTH COLOMBIA AND PANAMA, EVEN SMALL AMOUNTS FOR PERSONAL USE
